Microneedling
Microneedling, also know as Collagen Induction Therapy, is a method whereby tiny needles at a specific depth, are used to cause tiny micro tears in the skin to induce the healing process. This modality causes a chemical and physiological reaction in the dermis of the skin where collagen and elastin are produced.
The healing process for each treatment takes about 4-6 weeks. At that time the patient will see results since the healing process takes that amount of time to become visible. In microneedling we use a specific device "pen" that also emits red light and microcurrents, so you receive three healing modalities in one treatment.
